to the 44th Canada Day
Road Race

Race Information
This will be the 44th annual running of the of the Canada Day Road race. It is
made up of two events a 5 km and a 10 km race.These races start
simultaneously The date of the race is Tuesday July 1st,
2014, registration time
is from 8:00
am to 9:20 am. Race start time will be at about 9:30 am at
the North Bay Museum on Oak st.
There is a $20.00
entry fee per registration. Entry forms can be obtained at the
  museum

The map shown is the route map. The route starting point will be at the Museum at Oak st. following the Kaye Pace Way and back. The 5k has a turn around point at Judge Ave. There will be a water station there. The turn around point for the 10k is at Marshall Ave. there will be a water station there also.
There are six age category's junior
13-19, senior 20-29, veteran 30-39,
sub-master 40-49, master 50 and over.
Immediately at the conclusion of your race it is very important that
the athlete report to the race recorder and identify themselves.
As soon as the race officials have tabulated the order at which the
athletes have finished the race the awards will be given out at the
ACT Band Shell.
The North
Bay Canada Day Festivities will continue with the kick off at
12-noon with the singing of O'Canada and Official Cake Cutting
ceremonies hosted by the
Association of Canadian Travelers and the Clarion Resort Pinewood
Park.

$20.00 entry fee you will receive a Canada Day Road Race T-shirt
. Additional T-shirts can be purchased for $15.00. These
items will be handed out as supplies
last. The t-shirt sizes are s,m,l, and xl . Medals are given out
to athletes placing 1st, 2nd, 3rd in their category

Volunteer for
the Canada Day Road Race
Volunteers are the back bone of
these 2 races races. This race and many
other
events would not exist without the volunteers . A deep felt thanks goes out to you all. If you
wish to help out I encourage you to get in touch with me and let
me know. If you have a friend that may want to help bring them along.
